Every time a woman anywhere in the world opens the newspaper, turns on the television or opens up her email inbox, she is bombarded with news about random “celebrity” women.
The fact of the matter is that when women open the newspaper, turn on their televisions or open their email inboxes, it would be nice if at least every other time, the stories being told centered/centred around women like them—twenty-somethings, thirty-somethings and forty plus-somethings trying to live their dreams, who have fears and real life issues, who sometimes question who they are and/or why they do what they do—real, everyday women!
Instead of waiting for that to happen, MAM Squared Limited created Common Ground Chronicles as a place women can go to hear, see and read about women they can relate to more.
PUTTING IN THE WORK…
Common Ground Chronicles launched with a bang in June 2013. After months and months of interviewing dozens of women the world over, the platform started sharing women’s stories through one-on-one interviews, narrative stories and a couple of edgy columns online to a very positive response.
